Responsibilities include check-in/check-out, billing support, and cross-training across administrative tasks to enhance team performance while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of clerical experience in a medical office setting.
• Proficiency in medical office software, including EPIC systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels of authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient information: record and update demographics, insurance details, and medical histories.
• Check in and check out of patients.
• Coordinate appointments: schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Handle billing and collections: post charges, process co-pays, and manage patient collections.
• Support administrative functions: cross-train in various roles to boost team efficiency.
• Deliver compassionate and professional assistance to patients, families, and colleagues.
