Qualifications

• High School graduate required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule multi-specialty and multi-disciplinary patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Abstract health data into EMR.
• Answer telephones, schedule appointments, and maintain schedules.
• Register patients, take payments, and provide receipts.
• Communicate payments due and arrange financial discussions with patients and families.
• Ensure referrals are attached to appointments and verify insurance information.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts with care team and management.
• Create patient no-show and cancellation letters and reschedule as needed.
• Achieve required metrics for scheduling and registration.
