The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia Health System is seeking an Access Associate Senior in Charlottesville to support patient intake, registration, scheduling, and financial clearance, enabling seamless access to care across a complex academic medical system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration, insurance verification, and demographic updates with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling across a variety of specialty and primary care services.
• Communicate directly with patients and families, providing clear guidance on processes, expectations, and next steps.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, providers, and fellow access staff to resolve complex scheduling or registration challenges.
