In a fast-paced academic medical system, you will handle registration, insurance verification, appointment coordination, and collaboration with clinicians to resolve scheduling challenges, all while upholding high standards of patient experience

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 2+ years of directly relevant experience required.
• Licensure: None.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration, insurance verification, and demographic updates with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling across a variety of specialty and primary care services.
• Communicate directly with patients and families, providing clear guidance on processes, expectations, and next steps.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, providers, and fellow access staff to resolve complex scheduling or registration challenges.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while prioritizing both patient care and compliance standards.
