Tidelands Health is hiring a Patient Services Representative II to support patient registration and scheduling. You will engage with patients to ensure a welcoming experience, collect accurate demographic and insurance data, and guide patients through essential forms and verifications.

We value candidates with 3+ years in healthcare customer-facing roles, including preregistration or scheduling. Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of related customer facing healthcare experience with at least one (1) year scheduling or preregistering patients.
• Associates degree with Medical Terminology course completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients throughout the registration process to create a welcoming and positive patient experience. Consistently displays good customer service behaviors to all patients and visitors.
• Obtains and accurately enters required information for registration into the electronic health system and reviews demographic and insurance information for completeness.
• Ensures all signatures and forms are obtained and documents insurance verification information in the system.
• Answers inbound/outbound calls, schedules appointments, and aids with referrals as needed.
• Organizes, expedites and follows up on paperwork related to patient care.
