• Enter required information accurately into the EHR system and verify patient identity to avoid duplicates.
• Obtain necessary signatures and inform patients about rights, HIPAA, and financial assistance.
• Document insurance verification details and obtain referrals or authorizations when needed.
• Answer inbound calls and direct callers efficiently while maintaining high service levels.
• Call patients to remind about appointments and coordinate rescheduling or referrals.
• Organize and follow up on paperwork related to patient care.
• Schedule various appointment types and communicate required instructions to patients.
• Perform general administrative duties and handle mail distribution as assigned.
