Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling or pre-registering patients; call center experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients during registration to create a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Enter required information for registration into the EHR with accurate demographics and insurance details.
• Obtain necessary signatures and explain patient rights, HIPAA, and financial policies.
• Document insurance verification information and coordinate referrals/pre-certification as needed.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, directing callers efficiently and professionally.
• Notify patients of appointments and assist with referrals and scheduling as needed.
• Organize and follow up on paperwork related to patient care and scheduling.
