Responsibilities include securing referrals, documentation, upfront payments, and supporting denials management, with opportunities for project work and process improvement guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Internal candidates: 1 year experience as a Patient Registration Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing.
• Prepare and obtain all documentation for new referrals.
• Assist with upfront patient payment and direct to financial assistance when needed.
• Support claims and denial management activities and follow-up on paperwork.
• Assist supervision with special assignments and act as backup when needed.
• Communicate improvement opportunities and proposed resolutions to leadership.
