Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to smooth the transition of new patients to our home infusion services and coordinate onboarding with referrals and sales. You will work across patient, nursing, pharmacy, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition to home/AIS.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with strong multitasking, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple referrals concurrently.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient's upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
