Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to streamline the transition of new patients to home care and AIS services. The role partners with Sales to prepare referrals and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for patients and referral partners.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with strong multi-tasking, attention to detail and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed.
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management.
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
