Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of work experience.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of work experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the San Jose package layout team with mentorship and day-to-day guidance.
• Support complex ASIC packaging projects, ensuring high-quality implementations.
• Collaborate with package leads, SI/PI teams, silicon floor planning, and manufacturing partners.
• Coordinate layout resource allocation, priorities, and staffing across multiple projects.
• Assist in optimizing package pinouts, stack-ups, power distribution, and high-speed routing.
• Align methodologies and engineering standards across sites with global leaders.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and development of layout engineers in San Jose.
• Engage with vendors/outsourced resources to meet delivery goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in layout methods and engineering efficiency.
