Job summary

POWERX is seeking a P&C Senior Test Engineer to independently execute testing, commissioning, and validation across transmission, distribution, and generation substations. You will work with protection schemes, SCADA integration, and relay logic while mentoring junior engineers.

This role supports greenfield and brownfield projects up to 765kV, with leadership development toward project ownership and a focus on safety and quality in field tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in high-voltage protection & control testing/commissioning.
• Experience with multiple relay platforms and NEC/OSHA guidelines.
• Knowledge of protection schemes, CT/VT theory, and SCADA interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute relay protection testing and commissioning activities.
• Analyze test results, create clear pass/fail determinations, and document findings.
• Mentor junior engineers and support pre-energization readiness.
