Eaton is seeking a Lead Outside Sales Engineer for a hybrid role near Chanhassen, MN. You will build relationships with key customers and channel partners, develop sales plans, and drive growth with data-driven, cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a technical or commercial background, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate within a 50-mile radius of Chanhassen. Base pay plus incentive targets comprise total compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with five years in a technical or commercial field.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit offered; candidates within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN only.

• Build and own relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects.
• Learn and understand business models to develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations.
• Collaborate and leverage Channel to execute on business objectives.
• Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust to pricing and delivery requirements.
• Use corporate tools and analytics about the customer to drive data-based decisions about opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product lines, operations and other internal stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
• Lead technical presentations at customer forums and local associations.
• Resolve technical and quality issues with factories and customers.
• Help develop a coordinated sales effort while keeping management informed of market conditions.
• Quote projects and negotiate accurate pricing.
