Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Senior Outside Sales Engineer - Mission Critical. The candidate must live within 50 miles of West Chester, OH or Worthington, OH and be prepared for a hybrid office schedule.

You will build and own relationships with key customers and channel partners, develop sales plans, lead technical presentations, and negotiate pricing while coordinating with product lines, operations and other teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) with a minimum three years in a technical or commercial field
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Valid driver’s license
• No relocation benefit; within a 50-mile radius of West Chester or Worthington, OH

Responsibilities

• Build and own relationships with key customers and channel partners to enhance long-term business prospects
• Learn and understand business models to develop and execute sales plans to meet performance expectations
• Collaborate with Channel to execute on business objectives
• Canvas the market to gain insight and adjust to pricing and delivery requirements
• Use analytics about the customer to drive data-based decisions about opportunities and growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide customer-centric solutions
• Lead technical presentations at customer forums and associations
• Resolve technical and quality issues with factories and customers
• Develop a coordinated sales effort and keep management informed of market conditions
• Quote projects and negotiate accurate pricing
• Obtain ongoing training on functional and technical skills
