Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the in-house Optical team and coach a group of Opticians. You will guide customer interactions, ensure precise measurements, and verify eyewear quality to align with our optical standards.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with at least two years in a leadership position, strong customer service, and a passion for eyewear.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership and mentorship, driving optical metrics and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and explain prescriptions and product options.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy to meet standards.
• Lead and develop a team of Opticians, provide feedback, and manage on-floor performance.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to plan staffing and participate in apprentice program.
