Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and coach a group of Opticians. You’ll diagnose customer needs, take measurements, fit eyewear, and explain prescriptions with confidence.

Your leadership will drive exceptional service while maintaining strict optical standards. You will collaborate with the Store Leader to anticipate staffing needs, manage apprentice development, and promote a productive, inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) who's been in a management position for 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Opticians; provide on-floor customer consultations and ensure accuracy in measurements and fittings.
• Uphold exceptional service standards and implement retail experience programs to boost loyalty and engagement.
• Oversee store systems, inventory databases, and general business operations; report to the Store Leader and manage Optician Apprentice Program participants.
