Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll coach the store's Opticians, consult customers on eyewear, and drive service standards.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician with at least 2 years in a management role, passionate about eyewear, and able to communicate technical terms clearly. You will help store operations and participate in the Apprentice Program.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) in a management position for 2+ years.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing coaching abilities.
• Clear communicator who can simplify technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Opticians and model excellent service standards on the floor.
• Consult customers, take measurements and ensure eyewear meets specs and requests.
• Oversee store systems, inventory, and Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Promote a productive, safe culture and engage employees.
