Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking a skilled Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team and elevate the customer experience. You will coach Opticians, consult with customers, and ensure precise measurements and high-quality eyewear fitting.

This role combines leadership with hands-on clinical expertise to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified where applicable) with 2+ years in management, a passion for eyewear, and a talent for mentoring

Qualifications

• Must hold an active dispensing optician license where required by state law.
• ABO certification preferred or required depending on location.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in a retail optical environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the team of Opticians on the floor.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure optical standards and measurements are accurate.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
