Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the in-house Optical team and elevate customer experiences with professional eyewear expertise. You will coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure flawless fitting, measurements, and product knowledge on the floor.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years in a management role.
• Strong leader and mentor with ability to drive optical metrics and uphold standards.
• Professional, open-minded decision maker for the team.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers' eyewear needs and take/record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and develop a team of Opticians; give and receive feedback and conduct development conversations.
• Uphold service standards and implement retail programs to increase loyalty and engagement.
• Coordinate with Store Leader on staffing and oversee Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Promote a productive, safe store culture and manage store systems and inventory.
