Job summary

Dow Inc. in Freeport, TX is seeking an Operations Performance Engineer to drive safe, reliable, and profitable manufacturing operations. You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams to solve complex challenges and translate opportunities into sustainable improvements.

The role emphasizes asset optimization, production targets, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on process safety and environmental compliance in a large-scale facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred).
• At least 2 years of relevant manufacturing, operations, or engineering experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, and use PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve asset performance by optimizing reliability, throughput, product quality, raw material efficiency, and costs.
• Drive achievement of production targets and business objectives through operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operating discipline and performance.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and lead capital/expense projects to realization.
