Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment with PPE and safety equipment
• Must be able to work legally in the United States
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position

Responsibilities

• Own and improve asset performance by optimizing reliability, throughput, product quality, raw material efficiency, and manufacturing costs
• Drive achievement of production targets and business objectives through operational excellence and continuous improvement
• Evaluate operational decisions for site and business integration impacts and recommend actions that optimize overall system performance
• Provide troubleshooting, coaching, and support during routine operations, operational upsets, abnormal situations, and emergency events
• Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions to improve operating discipline and performance
• Leverage process expertise, operating data, and expert networks to resolve complex plant issues and enhance operational effectiveness
• Monitor operational, process, and business performance metrics to identify, prioritize, and implement value-creating opportunities
• Lead capital and expense improvement projects, including value case development and successful implementation of solutions
• Identify and close performance and reliability gaps and collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability teams to improve asset availability
