Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an Operations Performance Engineer to support PGA Alkoxylation Glycol Reactors in Freeport, Texas. The role focuses on driving safe, reliable, and profitable manufacturing operations through asset optimization and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams to translate opportunities into sustainable improvements, while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Ability to work safely in a plant and use PPE; U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve asset performance by optimizing reliability, throughput, quality and costs.
• Drive production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support during operations and upsets.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify value-creating opportunities.
• Lead capital and expense improvement projects and ensure compliant operations.
