Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an IT professional focused on maintaining and enhancing the Business Technology suite within Operations. You will balance user needs with IT requirements, participate in requirements gathering, project solicitation, change management, and KPI reporting, while becoming a subject-matter expert in one or more technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Master’s degree desirable.
• Project management education/experience desirable.
• Minimum five to eight years of electric and/or gas utility or related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with Operations management and users to ensure systems function as designed.
• Gathers requirements and participates in project solicitation and management.
• Coordinate with IT to establish release dates and test environments.
• Write test scripts and regression scripts; publish results to team site.
• Escalate testing failures and coordinate retesting with IT and BSG.
• Develop end‑user communications prior to production changes.
• Gather field feedback after releases to identify issues.
