Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee field construction from inception to completion, ensuring schedule, budget, scope, and quality targets are met. The role requires leadership, project management, and strong communication skills, with deep knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.

Work is field-based with regular site visits; you will coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors, while ensuring compliance and delivering reports to senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 12 to 14 years of construction management or related experience
• Experience leading large-scale construction projects
• Knowledge of sustainable construction methodologies
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safe working practices
• Preferred certifications: CCM, OSHA Certification, related construction management certifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities and provide inputs to the schedule and budget.
• Conduct regular field site inspections or walkdowns to ensure quality and adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the project team to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Provide leadership and guidance to site supervisors, project teams, and sub/general contractors.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including project team members and senior management.
