Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to oversee health and safety across data center construction sites. The role focuses on implementing safety reporting, guiding project teams, and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will collaborate with contractors and internal stakeholders, perform on-site audits, and drive corrective actions to maintain a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong safety background in construction.
• Experience conducting safety audits and monitoring KPIs.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders on site.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review health and safety implications of changes on site to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop reporting structures for health and safety performance on each project.
• Engage with contractors and project teams to provide guidance on safety matters.
• Attend management meetings and coordinate safety planning for daily operations and long-term work.
• Assist in evaluating safety planning effectiveness by reviewing communications and coordination.
