Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive to drive the launch and promotion of a new oncology therapy. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, leading key accounts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize adoption in the territory.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in pharmaceutical sales, strong analytics, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
Strong analytics with budget planning and management.
Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
Launch experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Rare disease/oncology/hematology experience.
MBA or Graduate Degree.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze territory level sales data.
Proactively communicate with the marketing team through ongoing feedback on the development and implementation of effective selling materials.
Participate on cross-functional teams to support key accounts within the geography
Teamwork with other account managers across the country
Key account management that engages the entire care team
Adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
Educate patient care teams about initiation and managing patients per protocols associated with the product.
Attend and actively participate in local oncology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, advocacy events, etc.
