Job summary

AbbVie Oncology seeks a Clinical Account Executive to drive launch and promotion of a new oncology therapy. You will build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, support key accounts, and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure patient access and appropriate use.

The role requires 5-7+ years in pharmaceutical sales, strong analytics, and willingness to travel up to 75%. MBA or graduate degree preferred with omni‑channel promotion experience across national accounts.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
• Strong analytics and business acumen.
• Ability to foster relationships with senior management and external partners.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Lead key account management for complex customers.
• Launch experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Rare disease/oncology/hematology experience.
• Omni-channel experience balancing in-person promotion with digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze territory level sales data.
• Proactively communicate with the marketing team through feedback on selling materials.
• Participate on cross-functional teams to support key accounts within the geography.
• Teamwork with other account managers across the country.
• Key account management engaging the care team and adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Educate patient care teams about initiation and management per product protocols.
• Attend and participate in local oncology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, advocacy events, etc.
• Meet HCIR credentialing requirements for entry into facilities and organizations in your territory.
