Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to join our Field Services team in Bend, OR. The role involves remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability across customer sites, with responsibility for kiosk collection/service activities within an assigned territory.

Based at client sites, you will replace telephony hardware, pull cables, install devices, and provide basic troubleshooting with guidance from support teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years’ experience in technology troubleshooting or related technical work.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience with telephony and networking wiring (copper, CAT5/6, fiber).
• Proficient in Windows OS and common software programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador for ViaPath and demonstrate service excellence.
• Maintain and service ViaPath products at customer sites.
• Plan and prioritize service calls; communicate updates.
• Escalate issues when needed and support technical teams.
• Troubleshoot wiring, devices, and network components in field settings.
• Travel daily to customer sites with possible overnight trips.
• Return equipment per ViaPath RMAs.
