Job summary

ViaPath is seeking a Telecommunications Site Technician 4 to join the Field Services team. The role involves on-site duties at a customer facility in Carlisle, PA, performing remedial repairs, preventive maintenance, and system reliability work.

You will manage kiosk services and coordinate with field technicians across the territory. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of technology troubleshooting experience, strong telephony and networking skills, and the ability to travel daily with occasional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years’ experience in technology troubleshooting, repairs or related tech work.
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, and drawing conclusions.
• Familiar with wiring diagnostic tools and network cabling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive ambassador for ViaPath with customers.
• Manage service at assigned customer sites and assist customers as needed.
• Plan and prioritize service calls and communicate updates.
• Escalate problems when appropriate and maintain professional relations.
• Replace telephony hardware and network components; basic maintenance.
• Install telephony hardware, pull cable, mount devices, and connect networks.
• Administer kiosk service, collections, and deposits per procedures.
• Troubleshoot to identify problems and support Technical Support teams.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and repair data cabling.
