Job summary

Colliers International seeks an experienced on-site Subject Matter Expert for Workplace Office Space Fit-Out projects in New Jersey. You will lead planning, coordinate IT, Security, and A/V integration, manage RFIs, and liaise with owners and design teams to ensure alignment with overall project design and execution.

Qualified candidates bring 12+ years in PM/Architecture/Engineering or related fields, strong budget/schedule skills, and proficiency in MS Project, IWMS, Excel, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Background in at least one of: Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering with 12+ years of experience.
• Tenant Improvement project management experience is critical.
• Seasoned experience in fit-out, AV installations and all aspects of FFE.
• Familiarity with MEP, FFE, AV, IT and Security for design/construction needs.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret schedule data and propose solutions.
• Ability to learn client software applications and be technologically capable.
• MS Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word and SharePoint proficiency.
• Five years’ experience with MS Project or similar scheduling software.
• Proficiency with IWMS and various web-based PM tools.
• Understanding of the project life cycle and governance.
• Ability to drive data-driven risk identification, quantification, and control.
• Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders professionally and clearly.
• Planning and organizing to coordinate multiple activities and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Owner/Client interface & project design team relationship management.
• Lead planning to ensure facilities components are integrated into design and execution.
• Lead IT, Security and A/V planning, programming and integration into docs.
• Coordinate RFIs with written approvals and clear flow.
• Serve as liaison during fit-out programming, design, and construction phases.
• Moderate project meetings, agendas, minutes and action items.
• Experience with budget and milestone tracking.
• RFP generation, interviewing and team assembly recommendations.
• Oversee FF&E & 3rd party procurement process.
• Manage cost, change control, and value-engineering updates.
• Collaborate with construction team, owners, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with Sr. Project Manager Lab/Tech Specialist.
