New Relic, Inc. is expanding its Strategic Solutions Architect team in the United States. You will guide customers on how to achieve observability goals through the New Relic platform, bridging technical solutions with measurable business value.

The role emphasizes strategic engagements, cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams, and ongoing skills development in cloud-native technologies and incident management. Remote/hybrid options are available nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience developing in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry standards and OSS like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana.
• Understanding of incident management and SLI/SLO concepts.
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Strong communication with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprint engagements guiding customers to observability goals with the New Relic platform.
• Document current and target observability states and design gap-closing solutions.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to accelerate transformation and maturity.
• Create artifacts like reference architectures and technical blogs to build brand credibility.
• Pursue ongoing personal mastery and team learning through training and mentorship.
