Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 7+ years of experience to contribute to design, modification, and analysis of nuclear power plant electrical systems. You will prepare engineering change packages, perform power studies, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to ensure project success.

The role involves site visits, travel to client locations, and briefing stakeholders on technical progress while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree required.
• Experience in design of electrical systems for industrial applications, preferably nuclear.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering design change packages to install or upgrade plant equipment.
• Prepare and review calculations including AC/DC power studies, short circuit, and relay settings.
• Interface with project team members and client to ensure scope and satisfaction.
• Travel to client and vendor sites for design reviews and field verification.
• Assist project manager to complete projects on time and within budget.
