Qualifications

• Essential: BSEE from ABET-accredited program.
• Ten+ years in electrical design for nuclear plants.
• 3+ years leading an engineering design group through all project phases.
• Experience selecting equipment, materials, and preparing design change packages.
• Experience liaising with firm/clients in support or lead role.
• Electrical system design experience including LV/MV distribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead group members to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Define scope and deliverables (calc, specs, drawings, change packages).
• Review status, track progress, and keep client informed.
• Lead detailed design phases and cross-discipline coordination.
• Develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex modifications.
• Provide technical oversight across design change packages and calculations.
• Coordinate vendor questions and bid reviews.
• Interface with client to validate scope and satisfaction.
• Mentor group members and develop team capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for follow-on work with clients.
• Prepare multi-discipline proposals.
