Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an experienced electrical engineering leader to guide a multi-discipline group on complex nuclear power plant projects. You will drive design delivery, scope definition, and client communications while overseeing design change packages and electrical studies.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with other disciplines, and identify opportunities for project growth within a leading engineering firm. This role requires strong leadership and deep nuclear power experience.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree from ABET-accredited program.
• 12+ years in electrical engineering design for nuclear power plants.
• 5+ years leading an engineering design group through all project phases.
• Experience selecting equipment, materials, and preparing design packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead group members to deliver electrical engineering project deliverables within scope, cost, and schedule.
• Define scope and deliverables (calculations, specs, drawings, design changes).
• Review progress and maintain client satisfaction; lead status meetings and reports.
• Provide technical oversight for design change packages and electrical studies (AC/DC, short circuit, cable ampacity, breaker coordination).
• Coordinate multi-discipline interfaces and proposal preparation.
