Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide high-level analysis, design, and leadership for DoD networks. The role includes advising leadership, coordinating with mission partners, and ensuring secure, reliable operations within the NOSC framework.

The position requires DoD security clearance readiness, deep knowledge of network protocols, Active Directory, and ITIL/ITSM processes, with shifts spanning day and night coverage to support global enterprise networks.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering with 8–12 years of experience, or a Master’s with 6–10 years of experience in enterprise systems engineering, network design, or IT operations management.
High-level technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Familiarity with DoD directives and security baselines is required.

Responsibilities

Apply advanced systems analysis to consult with leadership and mission partners, determining complex system specifications and architectural roadmaps.
Document, test, and modify network configurations and security protocols to align with security baselines.
Lead NOSC operations watch duties and act as escalation authority for multi-system outages.
Evaluate third-party solutions and manage configurations within ITSM frameworks.
Interface with Mission Partners and senior leadership; prepare AARs and technical briefings.
