Job summary

Leidos seeks a Network & Systems Engineer to provide advanced engineering, strategic analysis, and operational oversight for a DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves 24x7 NOSC operations across classified networks.

The engineer will lead system analysis, architecture, and incident response, interfacing with Mission Partners and senior leadership. Strong expertise in network protocols, virtualization, and ITIL/ITSM is essential.

Qualifications

4–8 years of enterprise systems engineering, network design, or IT operations management (BS).
2–6 years with a Master's may substitute degree.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

Analyze and architect complex IT systems and networks for DoW contract.
Document, test, and modify network/server configurations and security baselines.
Serve as NOSC watch officer for 24x7 incident response and escalation.
Provide input for SOPs, incident frameworks, and ServiceNow ITSM configurations.
Present AARs and brief senior leadership on operational status and vulnerabilities.
Support Tier I-III engineers in troubleshooting and operations.
Oversee real-time monitoring of global DoD networks with approved tools.
