Job summary

Fortinet is seeking Professional Services Engineers in the United States to work directly with end users, defining daily activities and delivering expert services.

Key duties include assisting with Fortinet product operations, migrations, test plans, and knowledge transfer. Requires extensive LAN/WAN and network security experience, with Fortinet product exposure, strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years in network security products.
• 2+ years working with Fortinet products.
• Experience as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with Fortinet product operation and support.
• Develop methods of procedure for migrations, upgrades and updates.
• Create test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices interacting with Fortinet products.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Maintain core Fortinet product and technology competency.
• Resolves/escalates issues promptly.
