Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer in the United States to collaborate with end users during active engagements and define daily activities with clients. This role emphasizes hands-on Fortinet product operations, migrations, and testing while delivering training and knowledge transfer.

The successful candidate will have extensive LAN/WAN experience, strong networking and security knowledge, and the ability to work independently or within teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in LAN/WAN, Internet consulting, support, and/or administration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/support
• Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates
• Development of test plans and test new features and/or releases
• Verifying configurations and implementing best practices
• Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products
• Training and knowledge transfer to client staff
• Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet's product line and technologies
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
