Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team. The consultant is assigned to the end user for the duration of the agreement and will work with the end user to define daily activities.

The role involves assisting client staff with Fortinet products, developing MOPs, test plans, configurations, and knowledge transfer. Travel may be required, and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN, consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years in network security products.
• 2+ years with Fortinet products.
• Strong understanding of security and networking principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with Fortinet product operation and support.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations and upgrades.
• Develop test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices with Fortinet products.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Maintain core competency on Fortinet technologies.
• Resolve or escalate issues promptly.
