Job summary

Fortinet is seeking Professional Services Engineers to join our team. You will be assigned to end users to define daily activities and deliver Fortinet product operations support on site. You will develop MOPs for migrations, create test plans, verify configurations, and transfer knowledge to client staff, ensuring secure, reliable Fortinet deployments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and staying current with Fortinet technologies while traveling as needed to serve customers.

Qualifications

7+ Years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration.
5+ Years experience with Network Security Products.
2+ Years experience with Fortinet products.
Experience working as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a plus.
Solid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies.

Responsibilities

Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/ support
Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates
Development of test plans and test new features and/or releases
Verifying configurations and implementing best practices
Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products
Training and knowledge transfer to client staff
Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
