Job summary

Fortinet is hiring a Professional Services Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on working with end users to define daily activities, provide operation support, and lead migrations and upgrades.

You will develop and execute test plans, verify configurations, and deliver training to client staff while maintaining Fortinet product competency. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in LAN/WAN, Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years experience with network security products.
• 2+ years experience with Fortinet products.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with day-to-day Fortinet product operation and support.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, updates.
• Develop test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluations of devices interacting with Fortinet products.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet technologies.
• Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
