Job summary
Leidos is seeking a Mid/Senior Network Engineer to join a highly performing agile team supporting a large, complex, fast-paced program. The program uses SAFe, DEVOPS, and BDD practices to deliver robust network capabilities and operational support.
The role emphasizes network documentation, enterprise LAN/WAN support, vulnerability scanning, and the design and installation of new capabilities, including creating installation instructions and as-built diagrams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with Cisco hardware/software.
- At least 5 years of experience with Palo Alto hardware/software.
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs, and OSI layers.
- Experience with multiple vendor networking products (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Willing to travel; TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain network documentation for incident resolution.
- Provide enterprise network support aligned with LAN/WAN architecture.
- Perform IAVA management and security scanning as per System Security Plans.
- Design, test, and install new capabilities; maintain technical data (rack elevations, installation instructions).
