Leidos is seeking a Mid/Senior Network Engineer to join a high‑performing agile team supporting a large, complex program within the Intel Sector. The role focuses on security engineering, network operations, and integration of new technologies while maintaining a critical mission system.

You will document networks, support LAN/WAN architectures, perform IAVA processing and vulnerability scanning, and design, test, and install new capabilities. TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of related experience.
• At least 5 years of in-depth experience with Cisco Systems hardware/software.
• At least 5 years of in-depth experience with Palo Alto Systems hardware/software.
• Experience providing analysis, root cause diagnosis, and troubleshooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Solid understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs, and OSI layers.
• Experience with various vendor networking products (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with physical media types (copper, fiber) and connectors (RJ11/45, LC, SC, ST).
• Ability to respond to operational issues on-call; some travel required.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain network documentation for rapid incident resolution.
• Provide enterprise network support and collaborate with IT service provider teams on LAN/WAN architecture.
• Manage IAVA processing and system security scanning per System Security Plans.
• Propose, design, test, and install new capabilities in the environment.
• Oversee development of technical data such as rack elevations and installation instructions.
