Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our elite team supporting mission-critical national security programs. The role spans cybersecurity, network engineering, and advanced analytics to defend vital operations.

You will lead troubleshooting, optimize performance, design secure architectures, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating across cross-functional teams on mission-driven solutions. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of network engineering experience or equivalent expertise.
• Bachelors degree in a technical field or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong experience in network design, optimization, and security.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications required.
• Proven ability to lead technical efforts and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Analyze and optimize network performance, latency, and throughput.
• Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures.
• Work with routing protocols (BGP), policy-based routing, and traffic shaping.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging networking technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers (Levels 0-2) and ensure engineering excellence.
