Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Senior Network Engineer to join a fast-paced, SAFe-based program. You will support the LAN/WAN architecture, manage security scanning, and contribute to network documentation and new capability deployments.

The role requires substantial Cisco and Palo Alto experience and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. You will work on an agile team, handle incident resolution, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 8+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Cisco hardware/software experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Palo Alto hardware/software experience.
• Experience diagnosing, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls.
• Deep understanding of IP subnetting, VLANs and OSI layers.
• Experience with multiple vendor networking products (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Able to respond to operational issues off-hours; on-call; some travel.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain network documentation for incident resolution.
• Provide enterprise network support with IT service provider teams; align with LAN/WAN architecture.
• Manage information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs) and system security scanning per System Security Plans.
• Propose, design, test, and install new capabilities; oversee technical data like rack elevations and installation instructions.
