Travelers is seeking an Account Executive Officer (AEO) for National Accounts in the Chicago, IL region. You will partner with agents, brokers, and customers to provide guaranteed cost and loss sensitive coverage and lead with technical underwriting expertise.

Ideal candidates bring 6–8 years of underwriting experience, CPCU or equivalent designation, and strong financial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills. Expect travel and strategic sales planning with internal and external partners.

Qualificações

• Four years of underwriting, claim, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance experience.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience, with National Accounts focus.
• CPCU designation and deep knowledge of loss sensitive products and regulatory environment.
• Strong financial acumen and excellent negotiation/communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and cross-selling opportunities.
• Foster relationships with external partners by meeting with agents, brokers, and customers to market Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative sales skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with MD guidance.
• Mentor less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
