Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a VP of Business Development for Multifamily to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. The role focuses on closing multi-location multifamily accounts with very large portfolios across locations.

You will work with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders to drive expansion across locations and services, guided by strategists and leadership.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into multifamily groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.
• You would rather close business than manage people.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deal with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
