Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for Multifamily to own the largest multi-location deals from initial meeting to signed contract. This role has a $2M annual quota and emphasizes closing multi-location deals for multifamily owners and management groups.

You will manage strategic accounts with no direct reports, focusing on end-to-end deal closure across multiple locations and services, and expansion once a group signs.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling to multifamily groups or similar multi-location buyers.
• Ability to run long, consultative cycles with multiple decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close over 3–12 months.
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at the table.
• Expand accounts to add more locations and services after a group signs.
• Develop proposals with strategists and leadership for key deals.
