Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager II to lead a complex QSR or Casual Dine restaurant or a small cluster near a Salt Lake City location. You will ensure cleanliness, staffing, opening/closing operations and strong financial performance to company standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, hiring decisions, compliance, and driving revenue through strategic initiatives while maintaining brand and safety standards. P&L ownership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• 5-7 years in restaurant operations.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for time/experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant ensuring readiness for business.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability.
• Hire, promote, or discipline associates; ensure diversity and inclusion.
• Monitor financial and operational data to meet unit goals.
• Ensure safety and health standards are followed.
