Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager II to lead a high-volume QSR or casual dining restaurant or a small cluster with annual sales over $4M. You will ensure the site is clean, staffed, and open for business, making strategic leadership decisions to drive exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage staffing, coaching, and development, oversee product availability and equipment, and uphold brand standards, safety, and financial performance across the unit.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple shifts and staffing needs.
• Knowledge of HMSHost brand standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Open and close operations; ensure staffing coverage and checklist execution.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability; manage shifts and schedules.
• Oversee product availability, vendor communication, and quality controls.
• Provide staff coaching and recognition to meet business goals.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and health standards across operations.
• Interpret financial and operational data to drive unit performance.
